Rosacea is a chronic skin condition whose exact causes are still not fully understood. With rosacea, it's important to maintain the skin's acidic pH (4.8-5.5). Therefore, it's crucial to avoid over-cleansing or over-treating the skin to preserve its natural protective barrier. Products for rosacea should contain very few lipids; lipid-free serums and creams with light textures are ideal – providing intense hydration and regulation. Gentle, non-irritating skincare products that strengthen and stabilize the skin barrier, visibly reduce redness, and contain soothing ingredients without causing additional irritation are recommended.
