SCALY & HORNED SKIN

Scaly, keratinized, and rough skin is difficult to manage without the right active ingredients. It's a vicious cycle: the skin urgently needs moisture but cannot properly absorb it due to the protective horn scales. The dead skin flakes temporarily absorb moisture and then quickly lose it back to the air. The skin becomes increasingly drier. The solution lies in formulations that can gently dissolve the connections between the individual skin flakes. Chemical peels with fruit acid creams, salicylic acid, or enzymatic peels are suitable for this purpose. Afterwards, a moisturizing serum and a sealing care product should be applied to the now wonderfully absorbent skin to restore the moisture balance and thus the healthy skin renewal process.
